Our Story

Hi, we’re Sam and Moriah Johansson.
We’re the owners, farmers, and heart behind Breezy Hill Farm. Originally from New Hampshire, we moved to Lisbon in 2021 with a dream of living a more connected and sustainable life. What greeted us was an untouched forest. What grew from it is our home, our farm, and a life we feel truly grateful for.

From Homestead to Farm

We started small—just a few meat rabbits and a backyard garden. But after tasting the first meal we raised and grew ourselves, we were hooked. The flavor, the pride, the connection to our food… it changed everything.

Soon, we added pasture-raised pork, supplying not just ourselves but friends and family. Word spread quickly, and before long, our pork waitlist was full. That’s when we realized:
We wanted to grow food not just for ourselves, but for our community.

One step at a time, our homestead grew into a full farm. Today we proudly raise:

  • Pasture-raised pigs

  • Nubian dairy goats

  • Laying hens

  • Lamb

  • Broiler chickens

  • Geese & ducks

And from all this, we now produce pork, chicken, lamb, raw dairy, eggs, and much more—foods we believe are far superior to anything found on a grocery store shelf.

Animals Raised with Love

Our animals live happy, healthy lives with plenty of sunshine, space, snacks, and affection. We believe deeply that animals raised with kindness produce better food—and the difference is clear in every bite.

A Growing Dream

When our farm stand opened in 2025, we were overwhelmed with joy at the support from our community. It’s a privilege to feed our neighbors, and we’re excited for everything still ahead. Breezy Hill Farm continues to grow, evolve, and deepen its roots right here in northern New Hampshire.
